School holiday review
Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 09:09PM So it's back to school for the kids and back to work for mmmwa. I had the most relaxing 2 weeks in a long time. It was lovely to roll out of bed and hang out in our PJ's to 10am. There was no planning ahead of what we were going to do or who we were going to visit. We took a few visits to the public pool, saw "Up" and "G-Force" at the movies and the kids friends slept over. Mum took Charlotte to Caloundra for 3 days and Harrison to "Lazer Force". I got stuck into a little scrapping too.

A little gift bag I scrapped for Charlotte's friends birthday.

I've also been hand sewing up a dust storm. It seems I've become a little addicted to fabric as well as paper. I'll share those later.
In the 2nd week I eagerly waited for these to arrive:

I can't explain just how happy I am to have these little babies in my hands. I've been wanting the Canon 5D Mark II for quite awhile and its been worth the wait that's for sure. The speed and clarity is second to none and I'm so grateful to have a hubby that supports my photography. I've enrolled into another photography course that starts next Thursday...can't wait.
Here's a few pics of Charlotte before she left for a friends super hero party. She makes the cutest Wonder Woman don't you think?

Here she is lifting up our car.

We celebrated mum's birthday on the 26th of September at Tania and Murray's place with a BBQ.

I thinks that's a long enough post for tonight. I'll back with more to share soon,
Take care,
Nikala xxx
